A word about baggage handlers:

• The baggage handling department at most airports is seriously stressed to deliver our baggage on-time to the correct destination.  We would probably not be pleased to see how our luggage is handled.  We know that our baggage is routinely tossed around quite a bit.  Luggage gets damaged and lost more often than we feel it should.

• Although it is reported that only 1% of baggage handled, actually gets lost, that is not much of a comfort if it happens to you.

• Even it happens to us once , we feel that is too much.  No one wants to have their luggage damaged, and it becomes our own minor personal tragedy when our belongings are lost.  If our luggage is damaged, we feel it  is like coming back to your parked car to see it has been in an accident.
